Wenger's "Lack of" new signings, Pires postpones new deal...

Let's face it, with the sale of Vieira to Juventus, and a hefty 13.5 million in the bank, one would expect Arsenal to have signed someone to replace him. To his credit - Wenger has signed Alexander Hleb, a Belarusian international who looked very impressive in the Amsterdam tournament. However, Arsenal need someone dynamic and versatile to replace our former skipper.

Furthermore, letting key players such as Parlour and Edu leave surely will mean there will be a gaping hole in the centre of the defensive midfield position for the gunners this season? Can Flamini/Fabregas fill the void on their own? I doubt it, considering both are more attacking minded and neither has a great deal of experience. Also, Pires did not look at all convincing in the role when Arsenal beat Ajax 0-1 in Holland on Friday. He looked out of sorts anyway, considering he has said that he will delay contract talks until January and fears he will be left with "Bergkamparitus" as the club may wait to see how he performs before even considering a new deal. All is not well at Highbury!

Excellent writing and you will thrive in this type of environment as you can mix your own views with the comments of professional journalists. I also like the features such as loading photographs and providing links to your favourite websites.

You should look at the help guide - and use the spell check as I spotted a couple of spell.typos - no big deal.

I think Arsenal got very lucky at the 2005 FA Cup Final. They shouldn't of won the trophy. That trophy should got Lehman (the goalkeeper of Arsenal). He was the only one who kept them in it.
What has happend to Sol Campbel. He been "Injured" for 6 months+. He is clearly not commited to the team. I heard fully recoverd from his injury. Next, Berkamp needs to retire.
